OPEN LETTER.
I simple write you this letter as a member of PDP perhaps a leader in your ward or LGA and Delta state but certainly not as the deputy national chairman of PDP .
I am tempted not to address and recognise you as the deputy national chairman because I am not aware of any legal appointment or National Convention that earned you this position.
You and I know very well that senator Ali Modu Sheriff whether as the authentic national chairman of PDP or otherwise does not have the powers to appoint you from the air as the deputy national chairman.
Let me make reference to the Constitution of the Peoples democratic party (As amended in 2012) Chapter 7,Mode of Election of officers of the the party. And I reproduce verbatim how officers can emerge thus-
49 (1): "THE NATIONAL CONVENTION, THE ZONAL, STATE, LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA AND WARD CONGRESSES SHALL CONVENE TO ELECT THE OFFICERS OF THE PARTY AT VARIOUS LEVELS OF THE PARTY STRUCTURE AS SPECIFIED IN THIS CONSTITUTION EXCEPT IN THE FEDERAL CAPITAL TERRITORY WHERE OFFICERS OF THE PARTY SHALL BE ELECTED BASED ON GEO-POLITICAL ZONE."
With the above,may I ask you which convention produced you as the deputy national chairman of the PDP ?. Needless to make reference to the port Harcourt court of appeal judgement of April 17,2017 which returned status quo...
Further to the above, is it not clear that it is nauseating,irresponsible, illegal and unconstitutional and an act of trouble shooting and causing confusion for you to be parading yourself as the deputy national chairman of PDP whereas you are NOT?
May I respectfully advise you to stop parading yourself as DNC immediately or else I shall cause a legal action to stop you . May I wish you and your family a happy Easter!
